Allah guards not the snares of the false ones
“Inalaaha laa yahdii kaydal khainiin” (Al aayah)
This means that in His grace and mercy Allah allow not such snares to attain its goals. Thus it was why the top secret document was leaked at this time so that the innocent people of Somaliland must see it before it is too late for them and for the country.
It was God’s will otherwise this damming document wouldn’t have come to light until Somaliland wakes up sold!
In my interpretation of this uncovering of snares / traps set out for Somaliland by the very ones Somaliland trusted them to run their affairs for a term was an act of God through those who got the documents and leaked. ‘Wiki leaks’ was the agent of this uncovering of the snares of the false ones, the betrayers of trust!
What has happened was from Allah. Wiki leaks was the means Allah wanted to expose the traps of the false ones, the betrayers of trust and it happened whether those who are alleged to commit this treason and their surrogates like it or not. The question is how would this treasonous act change or not change Somaliland?
Another letter “the letter of death” which was remembered and explained how and who hacked and leaked that letter manually and not electronically unlike Wiki leaks did.
The hacked document from Saudi Arabia secret files exposed and alleged that Siilanyo’s administration has entered a negotiation as a region in Somalia’s so called Federal system with Mogadishu under the auspices of Saudi Arabia!!
How these two letters change the psyche, the soul and the future of Somaliland?
First, the “letter of death” which was the prelude as well as the plan to ethnically cleans the major clans-the Isaacs of Somaliland then the Northern Regions. Although it was leaked in 1987 when SNM was already engaged with Mogadishu’s regime of Siyad Barre with an armed struggle however it was a turning point in three ways as I see it.
- a) The people who were in doubt realized what Siyad Barre’s regime was up to, and then they answered the call.
- b) SNM’s resolve further stead fastened and gave them momentum
- c) It was a blow to Siyad Barre’s international public relations while it was a vindication of SNM’s claim that they were fighting for their survival. Siyad was isolated and in the end SNM prevailed and Mogadishu’s regime vanished
In regards to this recently leaked Saudi document which alleged that Siilanyo disregarded the constitution of the Republic and entered a secret negotiation with Mogadishu as a region in Somalia’s Federal system, it is a devastating below to Somaliland as a country and as a people. Who can trust Siilanyo any more?! Siilanyo did not yet speak about this secret dealing. However the government did not deny the document’s assertion but simply passed the blame to one of their own- the former foreign affairs Minister who in his part denied and blamed the Minister accused him! As the letter of death was a turning point of history this leaked document will have grave consequences in present and future administrations of Somaliland and the country as a whole.
- a) Allah said in (Alcankaboot) “Do men think they will be left alone saying we believe and that they will not be tested? We did test those before them and Allah will certainly know those who are True from those who are False”
- b) “Do those who practice evil think that they will out strip us? (Allah) evil is their judgment.”
c)”If the enemies of Truth imagine that they will be first by destroying Truth before it takes root, they are sadly at fault, for their own singling out may help to plant Allah’s Truth more firmly in men’s hearts.”
Therefore and according to Allah’s way Siilanyo and others who were with him in this betrayal of Trust, of this alleged secret dealing must not be left alone by saying “we didn’t do it even if we did it!” Mr. Siilanyo must be called to answer the question of the alleged treason and the snares set for Somaliland by him!
The alleged perpetrator of this treasonous act Mr. Siilanyo and the other alleged misappropriaters of public funds did not yet talk. Some surrogates are making noises
We have seen this movie before. Remember what Siyad Barre’s Ministers and sycophants were saying when SNM Mujahedeen entered Burao? Lest you forgot, they said, “Burao and Hargeisa were playing foot ball and those who are saying SNM attacked there are just liars and doing nothing but causing damage to the country!”
Now Siilanyo’s Ministers and cabals are saying” Don’t believe ‘wiki leaks’ don’t consider Saudi Arabia’s top secret intelligence document leaked by wiki leaks and then revealed to the world? They say, “We ignore what the people, the opposition and the civil society organizations are saying.” That means close your eyes, cover your ears and block your faculties of understanding! This won’t work. I hope I am right
Well, again we have seen that movie before. Let the accused, President Siilanyo come before the House of the Representatives and tell Somaliland and the world the truth instead of using “Guulwadayaal” and surrogates on his behalf”
As the letter of death was a turning point in Somaliland’s struggle against the genocidal regime of Siyad Barre however this Leaked document seems Siilanyo’s own version of the letter of death. This disaster of national scale must not only punish the perpetrators, it should however it must be learned a lot from it so that it will never happen again.
How would we do that? Follow Allah’s way. Allah said, “Do men think they will be left alone saying we believe and that they will not be tested? Let the alleged Siilanyo tell Somaliland and the world what he did and why did it secretly unlawfully. Somaliland must verify before they trust their leaders the present and the future ones seriously
